Santiago continues to do well. In the above photo you can see some green spots on the soil where algae is forming - not to worry, that'll stop happening so much once I turn the internal tent fans on. Right now I don't want my seedlings to dehydrate too much over the day.

Diaz is also doing well, even if the going is a little slower. I'm sure, her one cotyledon damaged as it is, it's taking a little longer than it otherwise would to generate power for growing her new leaves, but they are growing.

Diaz, day 4 (day 7 overall)

Jeffords's shell casing didn't completely open, but his taproot did emerge yesterday and yet made no progress over the day in paper towel. I decided to try something a little different with Jeffords and planted him, covering up his planter with plastic wrap as I've seen others do with their seedlings. Hopefully something comes of this. I haven't yet had this much bad luck with a batch of seeds. My partner suspects it's due to shipment in very cold Canadian weather.
